The defendant Is the husband of the plaintiff. 4. Since approxlmstelY 1975, the defendant has attempted to cause and has IntentionallY, knowingly, or recklessly caused bodily Injury to the plaintiff, cOlllllltted rape, or has plnced the plaintiff In reasonable fear of IlIllIIlnent serious bodily Injury, nnd has knowingly engnged In n course of conduct or repeatedlY cOllllllltted acts toward the plnlnt Iff uoder circumstances which hnve placed the plaint Iff In reasonable fenr of bodily Injury. This hns Included, but III not limited to, the following specific IlIstnnces of IIbuse: the defendant pounded on the II. On or nbout Angus I 31, 1995, plnlntlff's donI' nnd pushed the door In on her. The defendnnt threatened to ki II her severn I times which cnuH!!d the plnlnt Iff to fear for her IInfety nnd telephone lJll. tt~ ~ b. On or about August 29, 19lJ5, the defendllnt threw II call of sodll at the plaintiff hitting her on the bllck of her hOIll!. The defemlnnt threw /leverlll more objects at her which /lhe dodged tn IIvold being hit. When the plalnllff left the 1'00111 tn Ilvold further IIbuse, the defendnnt followed her, grubbed her by the neck IInd pushed her. Fearing for her II/tfety, the pllllntlff Ilgnln left the 1'00111, and the defendnnt followed her, grnbbed her nround the neck, poured the contents of II clln of flocln nil her heml, threw the can lit the plaintiff's back hitting her on her upper bnck, and threatened to kill the plaintiff. The plaintiff suffered pIIin IIml brul/llng as a result of this incident. c. In or about 1991. the defendnnt chased the plllintlff through the house with II metal II/Iseball bllt breaking household furnishings as he went, amI threatened her Illlylng, "I'm going to beat the shlt out of you." When their son tried to Intervene, the defendant chased him through the house IInd outside where he bellt the boy with his fists. d. In or IIhout 1986, the defclulant pointed II .22 cal iber rifle at the pllllntlff 11m! threatened to kill hcr. c. Several hours later the plaintiff had a miscarriage as a result of this Incident. g. since approximatelY 1975, the defendant has abused the plaint I ff In ways Including, but not I iml ted to pushing, shoving. slapping, punching, choking. pulling her hair. threatening her with butcher knives. and threatening to kill her on several occasions. 5.
