THIS AGREEMENT, made this

party of the first part, hereinafter called the Contractor and
Carlisle Regional Medical Center
party of the second part, hereinafter called the Owner.
WITNESSETH that the Contractor has, by an instrument dated ~e.~9~ ~
entered into an Agreement with the Owner for the construction of
Improvements and Renovation to the Emergency Registration and
Triage Area of the Carlisle Regional Medical Center
AND WHEREAS the Contractor has covenanted and agreed therein to enter into an
additional Agreement with the Owner stipulating that no lien or liens of any kind shall be
filed against the above building or the appurtenances thereto.
NOW THIS AGREEMENT WlTNESSETH that the Contractor, for and in consideration
oftbe awarding to him of the said contract, as well as for the sum o£one dollar to him in
hand paid by the Owner, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, promises and
agrees that no Mechanic's Lien or Liens shall be filed against the aforesaid building or
appurtenances thereto by any sub-contractors, materialmen, mechanics, laborers, or any
one for material furnished, work done or services rendered of any kind whatsoever for or
about or on account of the aforesaid building or on the credit thereof.
AND THIS AGREEMENT waiving the right of lien shall be an independent covenant and
shall operate and be effective as well with respect to work done and materials furnished
under any supplemental contract for extra work in the erection, construction, and
completion of the said building or buildings as to any work and labor done and materials
furnished under the Contract aforesaid.
