4. Since apprOldmately Nove.ber of 1993. the defendant has aUe.pted to
cause. and hall Intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly caused, serious bodily
har. to the plaintiff, has placed the plaintiff In reasonable fear of 1..lnent
serious bodily Injury, and has knOWingly engaged In a course of conduct or
repeatedly committed acts toward the plaintiff, under circumstances which have
placed the plaintiff In reasonable fear of bodily Injury, This has Included, but
Is not limited to, the following specific inlltances of abuse I
a) on or about October 28. 1995. the defendant followed the
plaint I ff Into a parking lot all /ihe left B bulldlnll to use a pUblic
telephone Bnd stood In the middle of the road watching her for
several IIlnutes. The plaintiff, fcarlng for her safety because of
people comlni out "f tho bul hllng to avoid probleMs with the
defendant.
h) On or about July 19, 1995, thl! defendllnt ripped the ahower

cIOn or Ilbout JUly 14, 1995, the defendllnt threw II telephone at
the plaintiff liS Hhe held her '-nlonth-old child In her arms, hitting
the plllint I ff In thll chest Ilnd the bllhy on the 11I'11I.
d) On or Il~lut May 19, 1995, IlH the plaintiff held her 5-llIOnth-
old baby, the dllfendant hit the pllllntlff In the face reJllllltedly
with plllowH, slapped her In the face seveI'll I times striking the
baby In the proceSll, and shoved the plaintiff onto the couch each
time aho tried to got away. The plaintiff sustained brullles about
her fllce, ear, and arlll5.
e) In or about November of 1993, the de fendll/1t dralll!ed the
plaintiff through the house by her hair, thrllw her to the floor,
grabbed her by the chin, and Jerked her head frolll side to side. The
plaint Iff sought mud leal at tenlion and was treated for torn
ligamenta In her neck.

Agreement of the parties, the following Order is entered:
J. The defendant, Michael Stuart, Is enjoined from physically abusing the plaintiff,
Sherry Stuart, or from placing her in fear of abuse.
2. The defendant Is enjoined from having any direct or Indirect contact with the
plaintiff or her minor children Including, but not limited to, telephone and written
communications.
3. The defendant is ordered to refrain from haranlng and stalking the plaintiff and
from harassing the plaintiff's relatives and her minor children.
4. The defendant is prohibited from entering the plaintiff's place of employment, the
schools of her minor children, and the day care facility of her minor children.
5. The defendant is prohibited from removing, damaging, destroying or selling any
property owned by the plaintiff or jointly owned by the parties.
6. The defendant is eltc1uded from the plaintiff's residence located at 136 Amy
