NOW THIS AGREEMENT wtTNESSETIl: That Ihe ContraLlOr for and in eonsidemlion of Ihe
cuntract aforesaid and the consideration mentioned thereunder, .IS well as the further cnnsidcroltinn of One ($1.00)

whereof is hereby acknowledged. docs hereby covcnant. promise. and agree that no mechanics' lien or claim or
other lien or claim of any kind whatsoevcr shall be tiled or maintained against the said building or buildings or
the curtilage or curtilages appurtenant thereto. by Contnlctor or by any sub-contractor. materialmen. or laborers
for work done. or materials furnished under said contract or by any other party acting through or under them or
any of them for and about said building or buildings or any parllhereof. or on eredillhereof. and thaI all sub.
contractors. materialmen ami laborers on said work shall look to and hold Contractor personally liable fur all sub.
contracts. materials furnished and work and labor dnne. so that there shall not be any legal or lawful claim of any
kind whatever against Owner for any work done or lahor or materials furnished under said contruet for and about
the erection. construction. and completion of said huildings as aforesaid. or under .my contract for extra work or
for work supplemental thereto ()r otherwise.
AND this agreement waiving the right of lien shall he an independent covenant and shall operate and be
effective as well with respect to work done and materials furnished under any supplemental contract for extra
work in the ercction. construction. and completion of the said huilding or buildings as any work and lahor donc
and materials furnished undcr the contmct aforesaid.
AN D. in order to give the Owner full power and authority to protect himsclf and the lot or lots of ground
against any and all claims tiled hy the Contractor or ;'lI1yone acting undcror through him or it in violation of the
foregoing covenant. the said Contractor for himself. thcmselvcs. itself. hereby inevocably authorizcs aOO
cmpowers any Attorney of any Court of Common Pleas of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In appear for
him. them. it or any of them. in any of thc said Courts of Cummon Pleas as Attorncy for him. thcm. or it and
in him. their. its. namc. mark satislied of record at thc cost and cxpense of (hc Contractor or of any Sub-
Contractor or Materialman. or Materialmcn. any and all claims or claim. licn or lien. IiIcd hy or for the
Contractor. or any Sub.Contractoror Materialnmn. or in his or their nmllC ngainst said building or huildings. 101
