3. The defendant, Peggy S. Lockr idgll, 15 the wife of the plaint Iff, and
Shawn E. Lockridge, Is the plaintiff's lion.
4. Since appruxlmllte Iy November 23, 1995, the defendants have at tempted
to cause and have Intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly caused bodily Injury
and serious bodily harm to the plaint iff and the minor child, have placed the

"pcggy"), hid iMide thc pllllntlrf'lI vehicle whllll he WllS at work.
When the plllintlff IInd his girlfriend lefl work In the car, Peggy
jUllped up from I he bllck seat where she had been hiding, grabbed the
plaintiff's girlfriend by the hall', pulled her head backward over
the lI11at, refuHcd tu let go, IInd Hcrellmed lit the [>llllnt Iff. The
plaintiff Hlopped the car. got out, IIOd liS he trlmlto get Peggy out
of the car, the defendllnt (herelnllfter "Shllwn"), clime up behind him
on the roadsi<le and Htabbcd him In the buck Rnd arm with a 6"
"butterfly" style knife. The pllllntlff's girlfriend called 911.
CRrl Isle Pol ice arrested Shllwn IInd charged him wilh Ilggravnted
assault. The pllllntlff required emergency surgery for a collapsed

b) On llJ' IIbout November 2M, 1995. the defendllnt, Peggy, came Into
the plaintiff's place of employment, yelled nnd screamed at him,
rufused to leave when he Illlkcd her to, and slaplICd the pllllnUff In
the fllce.
In or about mld-dny, when the minor child, Jason, who saw the
defendants ransllcking the plaintiff's cllr Ilnd ripping out thelltereo
IlYlltem, and told them tu stop, shnwn brRndlshed a knife and
threntened Jillion with It. Jillion fen red for his safety and left.
