COKES NOW, Plaintiff Susan Cash McCormick by an through her
attroney, Arthur T. McDermott, Esquire and files this Complaint
and states as follows I
1. Plaintiff is Susan Cash McCormick of 173 Oakhill Road,
CarliSle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and is sui juris.
2. Defendant is Christopher Scripture of 7000 Windsor Mill
Road, Baltimore, Maryland and is sui juris.
3. On or about March 17, 1995, Defendant and his wife,
Kimberly Scripture (Plaintiff's niece) borrowed and signed a
promiuory note for the amount of $15,000.00 plus $3,000.00
(interest), to be paid at the rate of $500.00 per month
cODlDlencing July 15, 1995.
4. Defendant made three (3) payments of $500.00, the last
of which was in September, 1995.
5. Defendant is currently in default.
6. Defendant has indicated that he does not intend to make
any further payments on this Note, for which he is jointly or
severally liable.
7. The promiuory note and the loan of $15,000.00 were
executed in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania which give this Court
jurisdiction over this matter.
