COMPLAINT IN MORTGAGB FORECLOSURB
UNITED COMPANIES LENDING CORPORATION, by its attorneys,
XIMBERLY
McDANIEL, ESQUIRE, and THOMPSON, CALXINS & SUTTER
complains and says as follows:
1. Plaintiff is UNITED COMPANIES LENDING CORPORATION, a
corporation existing under the laws of the State of Louisiana,
with a principal office and place of business located at 4041
Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70819 ("United Companies").
2. Defendant GREGORY W. CALAHAN is an adult individual
whose last known address is 760 Conodoguinet Avenue, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania 17013.
3. Defendant executed and delivered to United Companies a
Mortgage dated August 27, 1992, which was recorded in the
Recorder's Office of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in Mortgage
Book Volume 1085, Page 611, ("Mortgage"). The Mortgage secures a
loan in the amount of $43,300.00 evidenced by the Note from
Defendant to United companies dated August 27, 1992 ("Note").
True and correct copies of the Mortgage and Note are attached
hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibits
respectively.

4. The Mortqaqe wae assiqned to Bankers Trust Company ot
Ca1itornia, by an Assiqnment ot Mortqaqe dated Deoember 15, 1992,
and reoorded in the Reoorder ot Deeds Ottioe ot Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania on February 8, 1995, at Mortqaqe Book Volume A437,
paqe 414. The Mortqaqe was subsequently reassiqned to United
Companies by Assiqnment ot Mortqaqe dated Auqust 1, 1995. Copies
ot said A..iqnments ot Mortqaqe are attaohed hereto and
inoorporated herein as Exhibit "C".
5. The property subjeot to the Mortqaqe is located at 760
Conodoquinet Avenue, Carlisle, cumberland County, Pennsylvania
("property") .
6. The Mortqaqe is in detau1t by reason of the failure of
Detendant to make payments as provided for in the Mortqage, and by
the terms ot said Mortgage, the entire unpaid ba1anoe ot said
prinoipa1 sum, toqether with unpaid interest thereon, shall beoome
immediately due and payable.
7. Under the terms ot the Mortgage, Detendant is also
liable to P1aintitt for attorney's tees and oosts expended by
Plaintiff in the oolleotions of the sums due under the Mortgaqe.
8. Notioe required by the Homeowners' Emergenoy Mortgage
Assistanoe Aot, Aot 91 (35 P.S. 111680.4010, et seq.), was mailed
to Defendant at his last known address on July 24, 1995. A oopy
of said Notioe is attaohed hereto and inoorporated herein as
EXhibit "0".

10. Notice required by the Loan Interest and Protection Law,
Act 6 ot 1974 (41 P.S. 1402), was mailed to Detendant on July 24,
1995, by certified mail and by first class mail at his lase known
address. A true and correct copy of said Notice is attached
hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "E".
11. Said Act 6 Notice sent to Defendant by certified Mail
was unclaimed. A true and correct copy of the returned envelope
is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "F".
12. The property subject to the Mortgage is described as
tollows I
ALL that certain piece or parcel of land with
improvements thereon erected situate in North Middleton
Township, Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, more
particularly bounded and described , as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the line of Conodoquinet Avenue,
said point being the northwestern corner of Lot No. 48
on the Plan ot Meadowbrook Park as recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, in Plan Book 2, Page 38; thence North 29
degrees 30 minutes East along the line of Condoquinet
Avenue as extended 120 feet to a point; thence South 60
degrees 30 minutes East to the Condoquinet Creek; thence
down opposite the northern line of said Lot No. 48, said
point being exactly South 60 degrees 30 minutes West to
Conodoguinet Avenue, 175 feet of said distance being
along the northern line of said Lot No. 48, the place of
beginning.
HAVING erected thereon a dwelling known 760 Conodoguinet
Avenue.
SUBJECT to all conditions and restrictions of record.
BEING Tract No. 1 which David M. Bayer and Pauline L.
Bayer, husband and wife, by Deed dated November 28,
1984, and recorded in the Recorder's Office of
Cumberland county in Deed Book "A", Volume 31, page 41,
granted and conveyed unto Gregory W. Calaman.
