COHFESSXON OF JUDGMENT
Plaintiffs file this Complaint pursuant to PA R.C.P. No.
2951(b) for judgment by confession and aver the following:
1. Plaintiffs are Christopher S. Coates and Jean M. Coates,
adult individuals who currently reside at 250 Big spring Road,
Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2. Defendants are John R. Bailey, an adult individual who
currently resides at 1336 Creek Road, Carlisle, Cumberland
county, Pennsylvania and Dorothea L. Bailey, an adult individual
who currently resides at 306 Shed Road, Newville, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania.
3. By Mortgage and Mortgage Note executed on December 23,
1992 Defendants obligated themselves to pay Plaintiffs the sum of
$22,250.00 for an unimproved parcel of realty that Plaintiffs
conveyed to Defendants on that date. The original Mortgage Note,
which contains a confession of judgment on its second page, is
attached hereto and incorporated herein as Plaintiffs' Exhibit
"A".
4. Said Mortgage Note has not been assigned.
5. Judgment has not been entered previously in any
jurisdiction on said Note.
6. Under the terms of said Note Defendants were to make
monthly payments until the maturity date of December 23, 1995, at
which time any balance of principal and interest remaining unpaid
became due and payable. Defendants did not make this payment due
on December 23, 1995, and thus the extra sum is in default and
immediately payable.

7. An itemized computation of the amount due to Plaintiffs
under the agreement is as follows:

Interest to 1/23/96 $116,42

Total as of 1/23/96 $17563.69
In addition, all costs of suit and interest to date of
satisfaction are to be added to this total.
8. Plaintiffs demand judgment as authorized by the warrant
of attorney appearing in the attached instrument.
