APPIAL PITITIOH rlOM 8U8PIH8IO. or DIIVIR'8 LICI.81 Petitioner Michael Levinson, appearing pro se, files this appeal petition challenging the decision of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Bureau of Driver Licensing dated January 30, 1996, and in support thereof avers as follows: 1. Petitioner Michael Levinson resides at 700 Yorkshire Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013. 2. On October 11, 1995, petitioner was cited for violation of 75 Pa.C.S.A. S3362. 3. On November 13, 1995, petitioner appeared before the Honorable Susan K. Day in Mt. Holly Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and entered a plea of "not guilty". 4. Upon completion of the summary offense trial, a judgment of "guilty" was entered. 5. Petitioner filed an appeal from summary criminal conviction in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County. A copy of the notice of appeal is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". 6. On or about February 1, 1996, petitioner was notified by letter dated January 30, 1996, of an im~ending suspension of petitioner'S driver's license effective Marc~ 5, 1996. A copy of the suspension notice is attached hereto as Exhibit "B". 7. On February 5, 1996, petitioner was notified by letter dated February 5, 1996, of an appeal from summary hearing scheduled for February 27, 1996 before an Honorable Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County. A copy of the notice of hearing is attached hereto as Exhibit "C". B. On February 7, 1996, petitioner was notified by letter dated February 2, 1996, of a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Bureau of Driver Licensing departmental hearing scheduled for February 27, 1996 to take place at the Transportation arId Safet~' Building in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. 9. The appeal from summary hearing and the departmental hearing are scheduled for 10:00am. and 9:30am. respectively. 10.
