WHEREAS, G...aman-Rock Corporation, Incorporat.d, of ZUllingero
Pennsylvania, is about to execute contemporaneously herewith, a contract, with
Plainti.ld Firat Churoh ot Godo of 2089 Newville Road, Plainfield, Cumberland
Count Yo Pennsylvania, for the erection of a one story multi-purpose addition to
the existing building upon a lot of land situate in West Pennsboro Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bound and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Eastern line of the Grantors' property, which
point is at the Northeast corner of the property now or formerly of Robert Gr~ver
and wife as set forth in Deed dated March 10, 1966, and recorded in Deed Book "X",
Volume 21, Page 158, thence along the Eastern line of property now or formerly of
Cline, North 10 degrees West 483 feet, more or less, to a point on the Southern
right of way of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; thence along said Southern
right of way line, South 87 degrees 37 minutes West 700 feet, more or less, to the
Eastern line of a lot now or formerly of James D. Wolford and wife; thence
Southwardly along said lands now or formerly of James D. Wolford and wife by line
perpendicular to the center line of the public highway heading from Carlisle to
Newville, 425 feet, more or lesso to the Northwestern corner of the lot now or
formerly of and conveyed to Arthur C. Heller and wife by Deed dated May 8, 19640
and recorded in Deed Book "G", Volume 21, Page 786; thence Eastwardly by a line
parallel to the public highway leading from Newville to CarliSle, Route 641, and
120 feet North thereof a distance of 850 feet, more or less, to the place of
Beginning. See Dee~ Book 1-24-899.
NOW, January 26, 1996, at the time of and immediately before the execution
of the principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said
Plainfield First Church ot God to the said Geesaman-Rock Construction,
Incorporated, to commence work on the said bulldingo or purchase materials for the
same in consideration of the making of the said contract with them and the further
consideration of One Dollar, to Geesaman-~ock construotion, Incorporated, paid
by Plainfield First Church ot God, it is agreed that no lien shall be filed
aga inst the building by the contractor, o:r any sub-contractor, nor by any of the
material men or worKmen or any other person for any labor, or materials purchased,
or extra labor or materials purchased for the erection of said building, the right
to file such liens being expressly waived.
