RITTER, : CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA By and through his natural : Parent and legal guardian, : NO. 21-06-1022 ORPHANS’ COURT CANDI YINGER : : : ORPHANS’ COURT DIVISION : IN RE: OPINION PURSUANT TO Pa. R.A.P. 1925 Guido, J., October , 2007 On April 20, 2007 following a hearing we found Benjamin J. Ritter (hereinafter Benjamin) to be an incapacitated person and appointed his mother, Candi Yinger as the plenary guardian of his estate and person. Benjamin’s father Larry Ritter (hereinafter “Mr. Ritter”) participated in said hearing with counsel. He objected to the appointment of Mrs.Yinger as guardian for Benjamin. We subsequently received a pro se letter dated May 16, 2007 from Mr. Ritter. We forwarded the letter to our Orphans’ Court Division with instructions to treat it as an appeal from our order of April 20, 2007. On June 18, 2007 in accordance with Pa. R.A.P. 1925(b) we issued an order to Mr. Ritter requesting a concise statement of matters complained of on appeal. He has not 1 responded. Therefore, we are not in a position to write an opinion in accordance with 2 Pa.R.A.P. 1925. 1 On or about the same time our court reporter contacted Mr. Ritter regarding the creation of a transcript for the appeal. He has not responded to her either. 2 Based upon his pro-se letter it appears that he is complaining about the effectiveness of his counsel. However his failure to comply with Rule 1925(b) order makes it impossible for us to know exactly what his complaints are. _____________________ ____________________________ DATE Edward E. Guido, J.
