Bentz respectfully represents; That he is a citizen of the Borough of Carlisle, and President of the Town Council of the said Borough of Carlisle. That on October 28th. 1899 W. I. Fought tendered his resignation as Chief Burgess of the Borough of Carlisle to the -President and members of the Town CoUncii of the Borough of Carlisle; that on gU 4G day of October 1899 the said resignation wA s dull accepted by the said Town Council.
