Know ye that I, Samuel J. Harris, High Sheriff of the County of
Cumberland, have appointed, authorized and deputized, and by these
presents do authorize, appoint and depute +
be my deputy in the office of Sheriff in and for said County,
full power and authority to execute all processes to me directed, and
in my name and stead as Sheriff, to do and perform all the ministerial
duties of my said office.
And as Peace Officer, I do hereby clothe the said
-with full power to co:Tend the peace and preserve the laws
of the Corm :onwealth inviolate.
