:
MICHAEL L. CRAWFORD, II :
IN RE: OPINION PURSUANT TO RULE 1925
In this case, the defendant was found guilty at a nonjury trial before the undersigned of
the unlawful possession of a small amount of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug
paraphernalia. Following sentencing on February 12, 2008, he filed post-sentence motions
which were denied. He thereafter appealed, setting forth in a concise statement of matters
complained of, a single ground, namely:
1. The Court erred in denying Defendant’s
Motion to Suppress Evidence in finding there was
a basis for the stop and seizure of Defendant.
The suppression motion to which the defendant has reference was heard by the
Honorable Edward E. Guido. Judge Guido has since filed an opinion in support of his order
denying the defendant’s suppression motion. For the purposes of this opinion, filed pursuant to
Pennsylvania Rule of Appellate Procedure 1925, we adopt and incorporate herein the opinion of
Judge Guido.
