Enclosed herewith please find final estimate of work
done by ~dessrs Vnhittiker and Diehl of Harrisburg, Penner for repairs
to the Eekerts Bridge in aecordenee with a contract entered into by
them for the performance of this work.
I wish to state that I have inspected this work eare-
fully during construction and am satisfied that the work has not been
slighted in any respect. I have further found the eontraeotors at all
times anxious to give you a good fob and very willing to anything in
their power to accomplish this. They have made several changes at
their own expense at my suggestion which have tended to make a more
substantial fob.

H. It is hereby edpreesly a; reed and understood by both
to this c,greement that in the event of anythin reasonably necessary
or propar to the due and complete performance of the work (of w'^ich the
Engineer shall ;~o the sole judge), having been omitted to be shown
upon tha plans, o~ which is not particularly described ir. the specifi-
cations, thrcu~h oversight,or error, tha Contractor shall notvaithstand-
ir_g, execute and provide all such omitted tivorks and things as though
