This will acknov~~ledge receipt of your letter of ll:arch
23rd enclosing note of the Cumberland County Institution District
in the amount of X30,000. dated March 15, due September 15th, 1938,
with interest at the rate of lj~ per annum, together with the
signature affidavit, signature certificate and two copies of the
financial statement of t'_ne Institution District.
We understand, from our telephone conversation today,
that the item of ~20,00~:1. _floating indebtedness represents a bor-
rowing by the Institution District since t~ze first of the year and
will be paid off by the proceeds of this note. On the basis of
this information, we have made settlement today and enclose here-
uTith certified check of Lioren & Company payable to the order of
Cumberla_d County Institution District in the amount of ~30,007.51~,
being principal and interest at l~~ for nine days.
Vue are enclosing herewith the former note duly cancelled
which was omitted from our letter of ~larciz 18th. tiVe are also en-
closing our bill for professional services and expenses in connec-
tion with this dote.
